Cobras heroes Pink and Black have returned to the screens with a bang as they battle it out in the UK, and they’re looking to make it their best yet.
BBC Two is bringing the two-part action-packed series to its homes for the first time ever, bringing together the worlds greatest heroes for a showdown of the century.
Cobras Hero Pink and Cobras Black are joined by new stars as they face off in the iconic arena arena arena in London.
The two-hour series will also be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 at 10pm on Friday 28 November.
“We’ve been working on Cobras Heroes Pink and Heroes Black for a long time and were so thrilled to finally have the chance to deliver them to our audiences in a way that we couldn’t have done on our own,” said Jonathan Bales, Chief Creative Officer, BBC Two.
“They’re fantastic, they’re a classic look at how to make a blockbuster TV series, and we couldn’t be more delighted to bring them to a UK audience.”
Cobras are the most iconic animal in the world and have been featured in film, television and the stage since the 1960s.
Their iconic signature colours have become synonymous with their iconic look and the iconic image of the cobra.
They are also known for their signature “black and white” appearance, with a dark, black, white and red colour scheme.
The iconic colour scheme was created by British artist and illustrator Charles Waddington, and became one of the most recognisable and enduring in the art of cinema.
The show’s theme, “the cobra”, also refers to the colour of the arena.
In the first episode, Pink, a black-and-white cobra, goes toe-to-toe with Black, a red-and of course black, in the arena arena.
The second episode will see Pink and Blue clash in a rematch of their infamous showdown in the Cobra’s arena arena – which will feature the likes of the Queen, the King and the Prince.
The final episode of the series will see Black and Pink team up in a match of the wildest beasts, with Cobras from across the globe in action, all to see who is more dangerous.
“The cobra has become one of our most iconic characters in film and television history, and the first thing we wanted to do was make the series so it looked like they were really doing the arena thing,” said Jeremy Clarkson, President of BBC Two UK.
“I’ve never seen anything like it.
We’ve done a great job, but we’ll get better as the series goes on.”
The show will also feature a cast of celebrities including Kate Winslet, Dame Maggie Smith, Emma Thompson, and Matt Lucas.
The series will be broadcast in the U.K. on Friday 8 November.
Cobras is available to watch on BBC Two at 10:30pm on Thursday 29 November and on BBC Four at 9:30 pm on Friday 29 November.
