‘Cobra’ star, ‘The Rock’ in new ‘Rockstar’ movie, talks about ‘the Rock’

A new “Cobras” film starring actor Jason Statham has the star talking about his first solo film, which he says is “not the Rockstar” movie that was rumored.

“I love to tell the story of how I got to be on the show,” Statham told EW, before explaining that “the Rockstar is like the greatest thing ever and it’s a true love story.”

“I had to find a way to say that I was not in it for the money,” he added.

“But it’s been great.”

Statham was just the latest star to announce a solo movie, and the first of the four-part series, set to premiere in 2019.

“The Rockstar: Rockstar,” starring Bradley Cooper, stars Ben Affleck, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, and Jamie Lee Curtis.

The series also stars “Iron Man 3” star and “Iron Fist” star Jessica Henwick.

Statham, who also stars in “Camelot” and “The Lion King,” also revealed that he’s working on a new series for Disney-owned ABC called “The King of Kings,” which will focus on “how [his] characters get back on their feet.”

Statham previously discussed his “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” role on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

“It’s a lot of fun and it will be the most fun I’ve ever had,” Stattas said.

“I’m still a little scared to do it, but I’m trying my best.”
